Clarifications to the rules are listed below. This will be kept up to date, so please ensure your design complies to avoid disqualification – any questions post in the Facebook Group

- Carpet tuft length will be 6mm long
- Trough will have a bottom that is also Stainless Steel
- Each vehicle will be given 3 tries with the same AA batteries and the best time from the 3 tries will be used
- The 0.9mm thick walls can be used for traction but be warned – the trough may bow outwards slightly with the beans and water inside (We will try and minimise this though) the flange length around the top is 40mm with a 20mm return – CAD file can be found here
- You don’t have to use all 3x AA Batteries, if you want to use fewer, make this clear on the google form
- Before the switch is flicked the vehicle must be smaller than the size limit
- Explosives and any other stored energy supply is still not allowed
- It will be an inside event
- The trough is SS304 2B Mill Finished
- The carpet will be cream and we expect it to get damp and covered in some bean sauce
- The hoops will be made from wood
- The trough is the same one as seen in the podiums of the other challenges
- We will use a mixture of foam and painting sheets surrounding the area so that entries can stop safely. There will also be someone on duty to stop entries with a sheet if these measures do not work
