  1. A maximum of 1 entry is allowed per person
  2. The portion of the rope within the washer is allowed to touch the vehicle. The washer is where all the force should be applied. Anything outside the first 100mm of rope is not allowed (as per the youtube video). The first 100mm of tape covered rope is only allowed to passively touch the vehicle.
  3. Vehicles can expand outside the initial space claim after the switch has been flicked – however, once the match is over, switch turned off and batteries removed the vehicles will have a further 1 minute to retract to within the space claim or will forfeit their victory.
  4. “Enter Airspace” just means any part of the vehicle crossing the line.
  5. Placement will have to be carried out by us in one action, so you can let us know which orientation to place vehicle but we will not be setting anything up before each round.
  6. We don’t want multiple entries per person. But if say a team of 5 make 5 vehicles then that would be fine to send all of them in and allocate each to different team members.
  7. “Further from the centreline than your opponent” just means we will measure the nearest point to the centreline from each vehicle and if say the vehicle shed some material such as a nut/ track tread/ some liquid and this was visible to us then this would be the point we’d measure to.
  8. Assume 4x batteries weigh 96g so you have 404g to play with. However, you do not have to use all the batteries but the total mass must be less than 500g.
